All for one Yoga and Yoga for all !

The oneness of man and his true nature is Yoga. We are more than just a physical moving body and more than just some moving thoughts.

Yoga is truly for all!

Whether you are looking to keep a healthy body or control your restless mind, whether you are stiff or flexible, whether you are on a spiritual path or searching for one, Yoga will map a beautiful and balanced path for you.

About me

Sreekumar was born and brought up in India. He obtained his first Sivananda Teacher training certificate at the age of 25 from Neyyar Dam Ashram. He then continued his many advanced trainings in yoga, panic healing, reflexology & Ayurveda massage for 3 years. Sreekumar has also acquired a Hatha yoga training from Isha yoga foundation and a one month yoga instructor course from Bihar school of yoga. He taught and lived in several Sivananda ashrams in India, to name a few: New Delhi, Madurai and Kerala. In 2010, he moved to Belarus where he taught in the Indian embassy for 5 years. Presently, Sreekumar has been traveling to many eastern countries in order to give yoga workshops, yoga retreats and trips.

Lessons

Sreekumar inspires people by his authentic teachings and personal practice. His vision is to spread the science of Yoga just like Swami Vishnu-Devananda, disciple of Swami Sivananda, intended.

Swami Vishnudevanda believed that strong, self-controlled teachers with inner awareness of peace should lead other individuals towards that same path, therefore building a peaceful and understanding world & society.

"Do you wish to rise? Begin by descending. You plan a tower that will pierce the clouds? Lay first the foundation of humility."

Start properly by taking 8 "pre-school" classes that include an:

  • -Introduction to yoga philosophy.
  • -Introduction to the basic postures and understanding of their benefits.
  • -Introduction to breathing exercises.

After those classes, you will be ready to start your level 1 yoga classes that help you master what you learned and prepare you for a more advanced practice.

"The body is as young as it is flexible."

Level 2 classes include variations of the basic postures and holding asanas for a longer time therefore building up strength and flexibility.

Practicing advanced asanas helps you combine the benefits of more than one yoga posture into one. It increases the level of concentration and balance.

Level 3 classes challenge the body and the mind while helping the person practicing yoga explore his body's potential and own willpower.

Prenatal yoga is an integral practice during pregnancy.

Not only it keeps you fit, physically comfortable and free from most of the pregnancy-related aches, but also takes your experience into a deeper realm: By emphasizing on the breath during postures, your level of concentration will increase and you will gain control over your thoughts. Relaxation is an important part in yoga with incomparable benefits because the relaxation is not only physical but also mental and spiritual for you and your baby. You will become more sensitive to the changes in your body, to the connection that you have with your child from within the womb. In conclusion, you will gain a new and higher perspective on life and on birth in particular.
